The Carolyn's Creek Tie & Lumber Company is a freelance logging Railroad set in the early 1900's. There are basically, at this time, two loops (an inner and an outer) to allow multiple trains to be run at one time. All radii are 10' and the track is a mix of LGB and Aristo Craft. I've found the Aristo needs much less in the way of cleaning than the LGB. All joints are Split Jaw or Hillman connected.
Construction started in August 2006 and both loops were in and running trains by the week before Thanksgiving 2006. There is a lot more to do in the spring with landscaping and planting as well as building trestles and bridges. The two water features (waterfalls, streams and the pond [400 gal.] are in and working.)
Total mainline is 275 feet. There are two waterfalls fed by a 1300 gph pump. Many bridges, several trestles and two single and one double tunnel compliment the railroad.
Motive power is a Bachman Two Truck Shay, Heisler, Climax, Bachman 4-6-0 and a 0-4-0 Switcher.
Rolling stock are many and varied.
